    ·  Passive:      
   Active: John eats a kilo of apples every day.

Passive: A kilo of apples is eaten by John every day.

    ·Although/Even though + a sentence (subject+verb+object+…)

She has studied a lot, but she hasn’t passed her exams.

Although she has studied a lot, she hasn’t passed her exams.
 

    ·Since= As (Como, debido a)

We are not going to the beach because it is very cold.

Since it is very cold, we are not going to the beach.

· Take+person+time+verb infinitive
Ex: It takes me two hours to clean my bedroom.
